Jaime beaucoup cette application pour sa rapidité de lancement et lorganisation des données quelle fourni. Et pour le prix demandé, cest plutôt pas mal ! Juste quelques suggestions de développements futures : - Ajouter la température du GPU ; - Pouvoir lancer System Monitor sans que la fenetre de préférence soit affichée (je lance lapplication chaque fois que je veux lire les données car je naime pas lavoir en permanance dans la barre des menus, mais je dois cacher la fenetre de préférences à chaque fois) ; - Ajouter la possibilité de voir les statistiques des disques externes séparément et pas une seule statistique pour lensemble des disques externes ; - Proposer un compteur des données écrites et lues à part, pour la surveillance des SSD ; I really like this app for its fluency and the well displayed and organised datas it provide. Just some suggestions to improve System Monitor : - Enable System monitor to display the GPUs temperature - Diable the preference panel display at launch (I launch System Monitor only when I need informations, and each time I have to hide the preference panel, because I do not like to let all the infos in the menu bar all the time) - Separate the statistics about different external drives instead of displaying a single set of stats for the whole external drives - Create a second "internal drive statistics" which can be manually reseted, in order to monitor the daily amount of datas written and red on the internal drive (for SSD owners). Anyway, thank you for this great and cheap app !

Looking for a replacement for istatmenu, which is charging too much for version 3 (imho) and has a system monitor program on the app store that doesnt do menu indicators. This app is great. Perhaps some options to make it a little more colourful? :)

I really like this app for the system info it gives me, however I would like the option of an icon on the desktop showing the system info rather than the info being placed on the toolbar menu where it really makes that space very crowded.

I was looking for a comprehensive system monitor. The challenge with these things is that you want a compact summary to be visible at a glance, with more detailed information available on a click. System Monitor strikes this balance very nicely. Moreover, there is always the challenge of how to have information displayed permanently on the screen without this affecting the usage of other applications. Putting compact figures and charts in the status section of the menu bar achieves this and it works well, especially on systems with lots of screen real-estate. There’s lots of configurability to get just the output you want, including instantaneous metrics, as well as small charts for a bit of history. All in all, this was exactly the sort of thing I was looking for. Hopefully the author will continue to refine and enhance this over time too, as it has a lot of potential for even more monitoring, settable thresholds, use of colour for different levels, alarms/notifications etc.

Of all the apps of this kind - that display hardware info - THIS IS THE BEST. Incredibly comprehensive, completely customisable, STABLE, reliable, simple to use. Displays EVERYTHING you could ever want. Anyhow, thanks to the developer for this excellent app!

Marcel I have the unsupported "Temperature Monitor" app from your website and I expected this one to at least have the same level of customizability and features – why is this paid version crippled by comparison? One temperature sensor? Really? Sure, it looks pretty - but I’d just as soon have my $5 back.

This app is perfect if you want to know anything about your systems functions. You can display as much, or as little information as you would like.

This is a cool app if you find yourself opening the apple "activity monitor" too often, keeps all the good stats up in the menu as promised, however its a bit clunky looking to be up in your menu, can use some better thought out styling and colors... I like to have the % of each category posted up there but as the processes % moves up and below 10% from 2 digits to 1 digits the entire menu bar moves to the right or left instead of leaving the space there (ie the CPU usage goes from 12% to 9% from 2 digits to 1, the entire menu collapses one space to the right) .. this is a bit distracting while you are trying to work on other things. For this I removed 1 star. I removed the second star because at this time in this form its a $1.99 app in my mind, so its too expensive at $4.99!

Useful but Ugly！！

This is a fairly light weight app. What I was the most impressed with is the fact that you can configure this entire interface to your task bar. Each "section" of this system monitor can be (re)arranged for different viewing reasons. Meaning customizable. You can just leave this systems monitor running up on your task bar (as needed) or shut the app off (as needed). I would like to see a little more color in those graphs instead of black. The colored light indicators for HDD and internet activity are a nice touch. The drop down menus (alt) on each section renders the most informative data. This app is very easy to configure due to its unique design and concept. However, on the negative side, I found that if you get too "click happy" when first configuring, you run the risk of dropping out your already existing task bar profile. Simply quit/restart the app if this happens. The systems information that this app renders is, at best, basic. I am sure the author intended this app to be used for quick viewing and very easy access. The accuracy of this systems monitor was compared along side another program called iStat Pro from back in the widget days. Some differences, but nothing critical. I like the large percentage indication that this app brings to the task bar. Worth $5? Your call but I say support the author.

I would agree with the reviewer that said some color might be nice. (Being able to see multiple processes as multiple colors, or to colorize Mem, CPU, etc to a certain hue) It would also be nice to be able to tell it which order the different categories appear on the menu-bar, but honestly, those are the ONLY things I would change about this product. It delivers the information I am looking for in a quick glace. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!

I think the application in and of itself is okay, but the interface is clunky and looks like something you would find in a Linux distro over a polished Mac OS. Functionality is there, but the fit and finish is not. It would be a good value if it was presented better and polished up.

Straight forward system monitor with clean looks and unobtrusive interface that delivers system statitistics that matter the most. With a customizable interface to suit the end user requirements, this application is not a resource nor GUI hog. Add to that the developer is responsive to inquiries and very polite. Well worth the money and a must have on all of my systems!

Excellent application. Recommend this highly for identifying applications that may be consuming unnecessary resources. Anticipating update of the application by the developer… Could not ask for anything more from a monitoring application at this price.

I downloaded this App for my Mac Air 2011 i7 so I could monitor my temp. Well to my disapointment it doesnt have a temp sensor ( It seems no matter how hard I research on products the things im looking for is never mentioned lol ). Thats the only thing missing though besides optional aesthetics, and everything works great, doesnt slow your computer at all. All in all its a decent product.

Latest update added all requested items. Developer is quite responsive and open to suggestions. Great work on his part...

This app does what it claims, and is a very helpful heads-up for your system. The layout is easy to modify and customize, the scope of the system info is quite broad. Plus if you have a 2011 MBP or later you will need this to keep an eye on your Temperature as these poor guys get mighty hottttt. Remember MTF (mean time to failure) is inverslely proportional to CPU temp, ahem. Thanks for the great app!

It quits whenever I turned separate core monitor on.

for the next update can you add a battery monitor with more info then the stock, as well as add all the other temp sensors! This is a great app and look forward to seeing the progress!!
